Anna Pehrsson lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. She has performed with Alias Compagnie, Cullberg Ballet, and Stockholm City Theatre, in works by Edouard Lock, Jefta van Dinther, Benoît Lachambre, Deborah Hay, Eszter Salamon, Cristian Duarte, Stina Nyberg, Alexandra Waierstall and Rachel Tess among others.
In 2013, she received her MFA in Choreography at DOCH in Stockholm with her
project Unthinkable objects, a two-part work that includes writings as well as an evening-length solo. As a freelance choreographer and performer she continues to create and perform her own work. In 2015, At the bottom left corner, made with Frédéric Gies, had its premiere.
She is currentlydeveloping “Cut in/fold out”, which will be premiered at Weld and Wanås Konst in 2016.
She is an artistic advisor for MARC (Milvus Artistic Research Center) in Kivik (Skåne) and in 2015 examinator for the MA in Didactics at DOCH.
