Ellinor Kristina Ljungkvist was born in Sweden. At the moment she work as a dancer and choreographer in Germany, Sweden and Austria. Ellinor holds a Diploma in Ballet and Contemporary Dance | Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance and a Bachelor in Arts | Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin | Dance, Context, Choreography.
Ellinor has worked with dancers and choreographers such as Jana Unmüßig, Deufert&Plischke, Frédéric Gies, Anna Huber, Wanda Golonka, Cecilie Ullerup Schmitd, Susan Rethorst, Anna MacRea, Libby Farr, Maayan Danoch, Marcela Giesche, Andrew Wass, Diana Thielen (Axis-Syllabus) and the theatre director Jonas Engman (Teatermaskinen Riddarhyttan), stand-up comedian Georg Kammerer and poet Arne Johnsson.
Her works has either been collaborations or solo pieces presented at occasions such as Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, DOCK 11 EDEN Berlin, Tanzquartier Vienna, Uferstudios Berlin, Örebro Art Gallery Sweden, The New Theatre Örebro Sweden, Teatermaskinen Riddarhyttan, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Stockholm, Teater Tre Stockholm, Theatre Skorohod Saint Petersburg, NORDLYS Dance Festival Denmark, Festival Tanz im August Berlin, Tanznacht Berlin, Tanzfabrik Berlin, Akademie der Künste Berlin, Kunstraum Pro Arte and Schmiede Media and Art Festival Austria.
Ellinor is a member of Dachverband Tanz Deutschland, Alumni association Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes Berlin, TAOS – The Art of Sweden, Nya Teatern Örebro and Fröjdans Örebro, as well as the founder of the dance company Dance- and Performance Art. She has received several scholarships such as Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes Berlin 2013/14, Podium 08 Salzburg Kultur Land, Örebro Cultural Price 2011, Örebro Kultur- och fritidsnämnd 2009/2015, Young Money Support Örebro 2009, Per Eriksson 2010/11/12/13/14 and Adolf Lindgren Scholarship 2011.
