About the class:
In this class we will focus on musicality in contemporary dance, and play with pairing dance with vocal practices. We will do thorough warm-up exercises, work on instant composition and writing with more time for reflection, and play with timbre, tempo, and percussive accents. I’ll share physical propositions with strong framing and parametres in solos, duets, trios, and group constellations, using our surroundings to inform our alignment, dynamic, architecture, and element of surprise in dancing.
