Victor Pérez Armero
Born in Barcelona, Víctor Pérez Armero is a Brussels-based dancer and performer.As a young boy he studied Catalan folk dance and graduated as a folk dancer from Esbart Sant Cugat at the age of 16, immediately joining the school company. He moved to Belgium in 2008 to start his professional dance education at P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios) and in 2011 he enrolled in Bodhi Project at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) for a year.
Right after his graduation he joined Company Thor / Thierry Smits until 2014 when he started his freelance career. Since then he has worked with international choreographers within Europe; SOIT / Hans Van den Broeck (project Artiste Cherche Citoyen), Stephan Herwig (Editorial Bareback, Unleashed), Peter Savel (In Colors that do not Exist, BAKKHEIA), Renan Martins (FAILBETTER, Replay), Albert Quesada (Slow Sports Kids, Flamingos), Thierry de Mey (Simplexity), Anneleen Keppens (The moon is the moon is the moon) Anna Konjetzky (About a Session) and Pere Faura (Incurables, Requiem Nocturn).Since January 2014 Víctor is an active member of the Belgian company Hiatus – Daniel Linehan. He has performed in the pieces The Karaoke Dialogues, dbddbb, Flood, Third Space, Le Sacre du Printemps and sspeciess.
He has taught in Brussels, Barcelona, Munich and Rio de Janeiro and he is part of the organising team and committee for the first round auditions for SEAD since 2013.
